科技教育与培训

　　2000年我局利用现代化信息技术，搭建邮政舞台，以加快邮政综合网建设和应用开发为重点，不断加大科技投入，全年共有39个科研开发项目通过了鉴定验收。我局自主开发的新型邮件自助收寄机、邮品自动出售机、电子邮政网络服务终端系统等科技成果均已通过验收并已在全国首家电子邮政厅 和平门邮电局投入使用。
　　2000年围绕企业经营管理目标，我局加强了干部队伍的建设及职工的教育培训工作，举办了8期处级干部理论系列讲座，组织了两期管理人员境外培训，促进了两个精神文明建设的协调发展。

　　Making use of the modern information technology to set up new stages for postal development, Beijing Post laid emphasis on the development, construction and application of the comprehensive postal network and constantly enlarged investment in science and technology research. Altogether 39 scientific development projects passed assessment and were checked and accepted. Achievements in scientific research, such as the self-developed self-service mailing machine, automatic vendor of postal items and electric postal network service system have all passed the acceptance inspection and were put into use in the first electric post office Hepingmen Post Office.
　　Closely adhering to the management objectives, we strengthened the work in cadre team buildup and education and training of our staff. We held 8 times serial lectures for division-level managers and organized twice overseas training for management staff, which promoted the coordinate development of the two ideological construction.
